Día de los Muertos
Was fortunate enough to spend part of my day with friends at the Longview Day of the Dead festival! It was a great turnout despite the threat of rain. It felt like I was only there for a brief moment but it was amazing!
Chango Botanica
Had a assignment for darkness and light, went for an esoteric meaning of the perceived darkness of Santa Muerte, which the lady working Chango Botanica was more than happy to talk about and let me meander about and photograph things, super nice atmosphere, and I’ve been back multiple times since!
